Bus Reno – 6
In 2014 we bought a bus, renovated it and then lived in it for nearly 3 years. I have re-created this Bus Reno series from a previous website I closed.
Here’s the rest of the bus not covered so far.
Our Laundry area fills the drivers nook. It’s one of those places that lends itself to dumping. When living in a bus every speck of space counts ๐
We bought an awning which was custom made and installed.
It gave us a whole new room to fill. And we did!
I had my computer set up down there. It got a bit cool in winter but was lovely in summer.
The little garden was quite prolific. I grew my greens in there along with some strawberries and a tomato or two.
We quickly made friends with the local birds. They got quite tame and would hop into the bus looking for food
Once we finished moving all our โstuffโ into the Bus we were be able to put the barrier wall/hand rail back up by the entry stairwell.
It was a very boring shade of brown so I changed it!
Welcome Home is the first thing you see when you enter the bus. It makes me happy ๐
La La and Grump keep and eye on things when we are away.
I love these emus and have painted them on various things over the years. Not my design. It’s from a Folk Art book I had some time ago. My hat’s off to the original artist.
