Other Bus Bits That Make It Home

Bus Reno – 6

In 2014 we bought a bus, renovated it and then lived in it for nearly 3 years. I have re-created this Bus Reno series from a previous website I closed.

Here’s the rest of the bus not covered so far.

Our Laundry area fills the drivers nook. It’s one of those places that lends itself to dumping. When living in a bus every speck of space counts ๐Ÿ™‚

We bought an awning which was custom made and installed.

It gave us a whole new room to fill. And we did!

I had my computer set up down there. It got a bit cool in winter but was lovely in summer.

The little garden was quite prolific. I grew my greens in there along with some strawberries and a tomato or two.

We quickly made friends with the local birds. They got quite tame and would hop into the bus looking for food

Once we finished moving all our โ€˜stuffโ€™ into the Bus we were be able to put the barrier wall/hand rail back up by the entry stairwell.

It was a very boring shade of brown so I changed it!

Welcome aBoard
La La and Grump

Welcome Home is the first thing you see when you enter the bus. It makes me happy ๐Ÿ™‚

La La and Grump keep and eye on things when we are away.

I love these emus and have painted them on various things over the years. Not my design. It’s from a Folk Art book I had some time ago. My hat’s off to the original artist.
