I turned the TV off when my daughter was 9. She recently turned 28 and I’m proud to state She is fully awake!
Now I’m not saying I’ve created a right-leaning fighting machine. She went thru the agony of teens and young adulthood the same as the rest. But her non-addiction to the mockingbird media brain-fluff has allowed her to think independently and not fall into the social media morass.
And I hear people saying,
‘Oh, I don’t believe half of what they say on the news’.
Really?
How do you form your opinions then?
Do you spend hours reading alternative news sites?
Do you research the facts you don’t believe?
If you don’t do either of the above, you are accepting the party line.
Feels comfortable doesn’t it?
Don’t step outside your comfort zone.
Don’t take off those rose coloured lenses thru which you view the world.
I know, you’ve had a hard day at work.
Your entitled to relax in your free time.
Snatch a bit of TV.
Zone out.
You can watch any one of the endless staged ‘reality’ shows that tickle the inner you – the adventurer, the renovator, the chef…you get my gist. A few actually get off their butts and do as a result but most stay put living vicariously though their on screen idol.
You can settle in and laugh along to some ultra left, politically correct sitcom. This brand of mind sloth is especially good for social engineering. These shows indoctrinate you. They teach you how you should look. What you should accept. How to react to stimuli. Group Think!
And then there are the current affairs, the economic reviews. politics of the day, e.t.c These are the serious programs for you serious thinkers.
Do you actually think that the real serious cats of this world, you know, the guys who own the banks, who own the media and the politicians are actually going to tell you the truth?
They, The Owners, rely on young malleable minds and tired, distracted minds to create the world They want.
They rely on you being worn out and uninterested in world events.
They rely on your inability to connect the dots.
The collective disregard for the political events currently happening across the globe is why the world is in the state it is in.
Turn off your TV.
It is the most devastating arm of THEIR arsenal. It has beguiled us for 50+ years.
It has only been with the advent of the Internet that We The People have been able to get together, share information and begin to fight back.
Turn off your TV and turn on your brain. Find the information for yourself. Look at the other-side of the story.
What aren’t they telling you?
