Bus Final – 8
In 2014 we bought a bus, renovated it and then lived in it for nearly 3 years. I have re-created this Bus Reno series from a previous website I closed.
We lived in the bus for not quite 3 years. It was mostly uneventful except for the Feb 2015 floods which became somewhat concerning when the river beside the village we lived in breached it’s banks.
Once we finished the kitchen we pretty much just lived there. We were situated fairly close to amenities so things like laundry and showering were not inconvenient. Perhaps if we had been further away we might have installed a shower cubicle but it wasn’t necessary.
Our Bus Life ended abruptly a couple of years later when my father-in-law died. Mum couldn’t cope on her own so we packed up the bus and entered the rental game again.
But that’s a new chapter.
